Bart Geerts founded Healthplus.ai, a start-up leveraging AI to predict postoperative infections from the EHR. He is an anesthesiologist, intensivist, and clinical pharmacologist, and worked at UCLH and Amsterdam UMC. He has co-authored over 100 publications (several on AI in JAMA and Nature Medicine). He chairs the AI commission at the Dutch Federation of Medical Specialists.
Sandeep Reddy

Professor Sandeep Reddy is a researcher in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for healthcare at Queensland University of Technology and serves as the chairman of the 'Centre for Advancement of Translational AI in Medicine.' This institute is dedicated to facilitating the integration of AI into healthcare alongside Healea, which provides an AI-powered health technology platform. A certified health informatician and a digital health expert recognised by the World Health Organisation, he has a background in medicine and healthcare management with training in machine learning and health informatics from diverse sources. His current research focuses on the safety, quality, and explainability of AI applications in healthcare delivery, as well as the development of AI models for treating and managing chronic diseases. He has also written numerous articles and books on AI in medicine. Previously, he established local and international forums to advance AI in healthcare and has been a member of various international committees in the same field.
