Speakers

Anirban Bhattacharya

MD,MPH

Senior Associate Consultant, Critical Care Medicine, Mayo Clinic Florida.Assistant Professor of Medicine, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Bhattacharyya is a critical care medicine trained physician. He has completed a Master’s in Public Health and currently completing his training in applied clinical informatics from Vanderbilt University. His current research efforts focus on creation of and implementation of machine learning based projects to either optimize workflow or to improve understanding of disease processes. Dr Bhattacharyya has also participated in the ESICM and SCCM datathons and was part of the winning teams.

Jacob Vine

MD

Dr. Vine is a critical care physician and researcher. He received his MD from Hebrew University in Jerusalem and completed training in internal medicine at Sheba Medical Center and in critical care at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. He is currently a research fellow at the Center for Resuscitation Science located at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Anya Mathur

Student at Western Reserve Academy studying biology and computer science. Active advocate for women’s health and podcast host of ‘The Period Theory’.

Chao-Ping Wu

MD, MSQM

Dr. Wu, Chao-Ping is currently a staff physician in the Pulmonary and Critical Care department at the Cleveland Clinic and Clinical Assistant Professor, CCLM of CWU. He is a Fuqua scholar who graduated from the MSQM-HA program at Duke University. His research interests include clinical informatics and machine learning, and he is passionate about using technology to improve patient care.

Markos G. Kashiouris

MD MPH

Markos is an intensive care physician from the Washington DC area. He works at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Markos has official training in Artificial Intelligence from Columbia University and Biostatistics (Johns Hopkins). Markos enjoys intensive care bioinformatics projects and research in addition to clinical practice. is an intensive care physician from the Washington DC area. He works at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Piyush Mathur

MD,FCCM,FASA

Dr. Piyush Mathur is a Staff Anesthesiologist and Critical Care physician at Cleveland Clinic,Ohio with more than 20 years of clinician experience. He has also served in the role of the Quality Improvement Officer and chair,compliance committee, Anesthesiology Institute since 2011.Trained in computer programming, machine learning and deep learning, he is the founder of BrainX, an AI in healthcare application research and development company.He is the co-founder of BrainX and co-founded, one of the largest online group for machine learning in healthcare, BrainXCommunity.

Ronit Nath

Ronit Nath is a undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing bachelors in computer science and philosophy, and future physician-scientist. He is also part of the Vanguards, the Nanotech Lab and the Axions Lab at Berkeley, and a former member of the Baylink Lab at Loma Linda University.

Arif Canakoglu

PhD

Arif currently works as a data scientist at Policlinico di Milano; and works mainly on the electronic health record of the intensive care unit's patients in the Lombardy region of Italy. With the full support of a medical team, he leads groundbreaking research focused on evaluating the life quality of patients post-hospital discharge. Arif's primary research interests lie in data integration and data-driven analysis of health records, utilizing cloud computing applications to process and derive valuable insights.

Ken Koon Wong

MD

Dr. Ken Koon Wong is the Chief of Service in Infectious Disease and Associate Program Director of Internal Medicine Residency Program at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, Ohio, USA. A devoted R enthusiast since late 2019, he applies data science to enhance comprehension, drive efficiency through automation, and advance data literacy via experiential learning.

Chintan Dave

MD,FRCPC

Dr. Dave is a dual-certified internal medicine and critical care physician with expertise in ultrasound and medical AI development, research, and implementation. He is passionate in creating and studying innovative ways to translate promising medical AI development into real-world impact on patient-important outcomes.
