Dr. Thomas is an avid coder, he developed Endo Tools, an iPhone clinical calculator app for endocrinologists. He is also the creator of Tumscore a machine learning tool to predict thyroid malignancy. Recently, his work “AIBx, Artificial Intelligence Model to Risk Stratify Thyroid Nodules” was published in the Thyroid journal. AIBx uses image similarity to make explainable predictions.

In addition, he is an AI Clinical research scientist and is the current Vice president of the Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research.
